The plowshare is the core operational execution component of agricultural machinery for plowing. It is a circular rotary blade that cuts into the soil by rolling, featuring low resistance and minimal grass entanglement. It is suitable for operations in paddy fields and damp, heavy, clayey soils. Common Materials: Mainly 65Mn spring steel, wear-resistant cast iron, and GS52 carbon structural steel castings. Among them, 65Mn steel offers good toughness and high wear resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing high-speed rotary tiller blades. GS52 castings are cost-effective and easy to shape, making them ideal for mass-producing small to medium-sized tiller blades. Strengthening Processes: Surface treatments such as quenching, carburizing, and wear-resistant coating spraying are applied, achieving a hardness of HRC 50–60. This significantly extends the service life, making the blades 2–3 times more durable than those made of ordinary steel.
