Weifang, Shandong — Driven by mature silica sol investment casting technology, the overseas export orders of Weifang precision casting industry increased by 21.7% year-on-year in the first half of 2026. High-end stainless steel and alloy steel castings have been exported to more than 20 countries in Europe and America, serving core parts of construction machinery, oil & gas exploitation, marine shipping and new energy equipment.As a core precision casting industrial cluster in North China, Fangzi District of Weifang has built a complete industrial supply chain. Local standardized foundries fully adopt eco-friendly full silica sol casting technology, phasing out high-pollution sodium silicate production lines. The factory mass-produces 304/316 stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, high-temperature alloy and special alloy castings, with dimensional accuracy up to CT4-CT6 and surface roughness up to Ra3.2μm, meeting high-standard pressure resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength requirements of overseas premium equipment.Most local enterprises have upgraded intelligent and low-carbon production lines, equipped with process simulation systems, automatic shell-making machines and vacuum induction melting furnaces. The qualified rate of finished castings rises by 10%, and the product trial cycle is shortened by 40%. Equipped with integrated waste gas recycling and sewage treatment facilities, all workshops pass EU ESG environmental assessment and CE certification, becoming qualified suppliers for top European and American equipment manufacturers.Industry analysts point out that overseas local foundry capacity is insufficient with long delivery cycles, making Chinese high-precision investment castings highly competitive in global markets. In the second half of 2026, local enterprises will focus on new energy vehicle structural parts, deep-sea marine impellers and high-end oil & gas connectors, expanding markets in Europe, North America and the Middle East, to build a national export base for high-end precision casting products.
